Covid-19 Vaccine Information

We are sure most of us by now know someone who falls under Phase 1A and 1B and has been fortunate enough to sign up for a vaccine. Bexar county has been designated a vaccination hub meaning we should get new doses weekly. If you have loved ones, friends, or neighbors who may fall under phase 1A and 1B and are wondering how you can help, here are the places to seek out appointments.

Alamodome – Appointment required, no walk-ups. If you need assistance drive-thru is available. Available appointments open up at 2PM online and over the phone. 210.207.6000 option 8.

WellMed Clinics – Alicia Treviño López Senior One-Stop Center and the Alicia Cisneros Senior Community Activity Center. To set up a vaccination appointment call their toll-free number 833.968.1745.

University Health at Wonderland of the Americas Mall – Appointments required, no walk-ups. 

H-E-B – Appointment required, no walk-ins. Check availability on their website.

UT Health San Antonio – UT Health San Antonio has been designated a vaccine hub with the mandate to administer to its patients, San Antonio’s most vulnerable population, in Tier 1B.

  • 1A Workers at:
    • Hospitals
    • Long-Term Care facilities
    • EMS 9-1-1
    • Home Health
    • Outpatient
    • ER/Urgent Care
    • Pharmacies
    • Last Responders
    • School Nurses
  • 1A: Long-Term Care Facility Residents
  • 1B: Persons aged 65+ or 16+ with at least one chronic medical condition, including pregnancy. 
    This includes essential workers with at least one chronic medical condition.
